Il Sole 24 Ore's summer 2025 is a journey through culture, education, and entertainment, designed to engage readers over the holiday period. Launched in July, the summer offerings reach full swing in August with content for all ages and interests.

I grandi romanzi dell’industria italiana
Running through mid-August, and released every Saturday, is the series “I grandi romanzi dell’industria Italiana”: six novels picked and presented by writer and essayist Giuseppe Lupo, professor of contemporary Italian literature at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan and contributor to Il Sole 24 Ore’s Domenica. The aim of the series is to narrate, through fiction, more than half a century of Italy’s industrial history: the era of large factories, the beauty and hardship of labour, worker pride, labour struggles, and economic crises. The volumes will be on newsstands for one month at the price of €12.90 plus the cost of the Daily. Already available are Acciaio by Silvia Avallone, La chiave a stella by Primo Levi, Donnarumma all’assalto by Ottiero Ottieri, Vogliamo tutto by Nanni Balestrini and Memoriale by Paolo Volponi. Starting 9 August, the final volume will also be on newsstands: Mammut by Antonio Pennacchi.

Monday's offerings, including Il Sole’s investigations into artificial intelligence and in-depth reports from “L’esperto risponde”
Every Monday in August, the Daily publishes an in-depth look at the impact of AI on Italy’s key sectors. A journey to explore how AI is transforming the country's economic and social landscape. Two booklets on the relationship between AI and justice and taxation have already been released. Starting 11 August, the focus turns to the role of AI intelligence in manufacturing, from the benefits it promises to its impact on employment The real estate installment will explore technological solutions to improve process and building management efficiency, while the jobs investigation will present both sides of digitization: on one hand, the use of AI intelligence for current tasks and roles, and on the other, the emergence of new professional roles. The final installment will review the status of AI experiments in the education sector.
Also on Mondays, from 4 to 25 August, the summer edition of “L’esperto risponde” is back. Four single-topic releases will cover topical issues: taxation, housing and condominiums, pensions and labour, and building bonuses. Each Q&A list will, as usual, be preceded by a focus in the “Tema della settimana” section, selected among today’s most pressing issues. Released on Monday, 4 August, the first issue is mainly focused on composition with creditors and taxation for the self-employed, with references to the flat-rate scheme, among others. Thanks to the second issue, released on Monday, 11 August, readers can address housing and condominium matters, beginning with condominium issues and moving on to buying/selling, rentals, and various disputes. On 18 August, the focus shifts to the pairing of pensions and labour. On the social security front, topics include eligible contributions for retirement and the amount of the benefit. The second part will address private and public sector employment, analyzing, for instance, the facilities granted in specific cases. The topic of housing returns, this time focusing on tax implications, in the final themed booklet on 25 August. The discussion also extends to cadastral matters, tax returns, local taxes, and VAT applicable to interventions on residential properties.
